Payroll Manager

Our client a strong family owned Construction Company is looking for an individual to join a dynamic team. In this position you will perform and supervises all activities necessary to process payroll, including maintaining related records, filing tax reports and voluntary deduction reports, processing involuntary deductions such as levies and garnishments, preparing accounting transactions and documents, documenting and updating procedures, and preparing special reports for management.
Process payroll weekly, biweekly and semi-monthly with the ability to process multiple payrolls simultaneously and union payrolls
Review payroll documentation for accuracy through audit reports and make any necessary adjustments.
Work closely with Human Resources and Accounting on all payroll related issues.
Ensure semi-monthly and weekly payrolls are processed in a timely and accurate manner.
Review and compute wages, and correct errors to ensure the accuracy of earnings and that all changes to payroll are processed correctly.
Maintain accurate payroll records and employee files.
Handle unemployment claims administration, responding to claims filed, EDD court appearance(s) in response to contest claims. Please respond promptly as we are filling a vacancy. Salary based on experience. Contact
